Five Scriptural Confessions to Help You Walk in Authority Today.

  1. Spirit
I am a child of God! Therefore, I have the same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead living on the inside of me. I feed my spirit daily with the Word of God. I walk in faith & obedience to the Word I hear. As I give place to the world-overcoming Spirit dwelling on the inside of me, success shows up in every area of my life. I know, recognize and understand that my spirit is the real me, and I make no provision for the desires of my flesh. I do not walk in the flesh; therefore, I do not reap corruption. I walk in the Spirit, and of the Spirit, I reap everlasting life.

    [John 4:24, Romans 8:11, 1 John 5:4, Galatians 6:8]
  2. Soul (Mind, Will, Emotions)
I have the mind of Christ & an anointing by which I know all things that are true and not a lie. As I submit my mind to the Lord, He causes my thoughts to become agreeable to His will and my plans are established and succeed. I refuse to lean on my own natural understanding! I submit to and acknowledge the Lord in every area of my life. As I trust Him (not my own mind or understanding), He directs my path. I rule my emotions; my emotions do not rule me. I renew my mind to the Word of God in every area. Therefore I am temperate, well balanced and sober of mind and give the enemy no foothold in my life. Peace rules as an umpire in my heart continually.

    [1 John 2:20, Proverbs 16:3, Proverbs 3:5-6, Romans 12:1-2, Proverbs 25:28, 1 Peter 5:8, Colossians 3:15]
  3. Body
My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, I choose to honor God with my body. Jesus came to give me life and life more abundantly! Therefore, sickness, disease and lack have no place in my body. The Word of God has imparted the life of God to me, and that life restores my body with every breath I breathe and every word I speak. I overcome the world, the flesh and the devil by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony. Body, I speak the Word of faith to you and charge you in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the authority of His Holy Word to be healed and whole!

    [John 10:10, 1 Corinthians 6:19, 1 Corinthians 3:16, Proverbs 12:18, Revelation 12:11]
  4. Financially
I seek the Lord! Therefore, I do not lack any good thing. I sow my financial seed into good ground and reap an abundant harvest in Jesus’ Name. I do not sow my financial seed under compulsion, or sorrowfully, I am a cheerful giver! The weapon of debt and lack shall not prosper against me. Therefore, I speak to debt and lack and command it to flee in Jesus’ Name! I live in abundance because Your anointing causes me to prosper. Blessings overtake me in every area of my life!

    [Psalm 34:10, Malachi 3:10-12, 2 Corinthians 2:14, John 10:10]
  5. Socially
I am a blessing to all those I come in contact with! I encourage, uplift and edify others in love, never neglecting the needs of my brothers or sisters in Christ. When I speak, I minister grace, peace, and life to all those around me. I love others from a genuine place that is quick to forgive and slow to get angry. I have a strong, vibrant and healthy social life because others are attracted to Jesus on the inside of me.

    [Hebrews 10:24-25, Romans 12:9, Ephesians 4:2-6, Ephesians 4:29]
  6. Government & Those in Authority Over You
I submit to those in authority over me and pray for their wellbeing. I pray that they are filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. That our leaders, governments, and authorities walk worthy of the Lord, so that we may live quiet and peaceable lives, in all godliness and reverence. I pray these would set their hearts to seek the Lord, humbling themselves and turn from any wicked ways. I declare we are a Godly nation that fears the Lord, honors the Word of God and walks in the Truth in every area.

    [Hebrews 13:17, 1 Peter 2:13, 1 Chronicles 22:19, 2 Chronicles 7:14, Colossians 1:9]
